PeptideBase has no affiliate or referral arrangements with any provider. Clicking a provider link costs you nothing and earns us nothing. Provider placement is determined entirely by the scoring algorithm — no provider can pay to improve their ranking or their match results.

How Rankings Work

Provider rankings are produced by an algorithmic scoring system (pb_score). No provider can pay to improve their ranking or their match results. There is no trust mark to buy either: the Verified badge was withdrawn in July 2026 and nothing replaced it.

No commercial relationship can influence a provider's position on PeptideBase: the scoring formula contains no commercial component, and no query pins a listing ahead of its score. This applies equally to the directory, search results, and the matching questionnaire.

How This Site Is Funded

PeptideBase is pre-revenue and self-funded. No advertising revenue, no paid placements, and no affiliate or referral revenue have ever existed on this site. If a revenue model is introduced in the future (such as enhanced provider listings or a Pro tier), it will be disclosed on this page before activation.
