What the two tiers mean
Verified results come from an independent third-party lab-database lookup — the certificate is matched against the testing lab’s own records, not supplied by the seller. The strongest signal available here.
Vendor-published results are the certificate the vendor itself provides. We surface it for transparency, but it has not been independently verified by PeptideBase or a third-party lab.
PeptideBase reports these lab-published figures and does not itself test, endorse, or certify any product. Purity is one data point among many — provenance and independent verification matter more than a single percentage.
