GLP-1 dominance: Semaglutide (725) and Tirzepatide (478) together account for more provider associations than any other single category — a structural shift driven by FDA-approved weight-loss drug demand spilling into compounding channels after the 2023–2024 shortage period.

Recovery compounds hold steady: BPC-157 (569) and TB-500 (278) remain the top recovery compounds despite no FDA approval pathway, sustained by sports medicine clinic demand and the compounding pharmacy channel.

Of the 97 tracked compounds, 19 have 100 or more active providers — indicating meaningful commercial availability, not just catalog listings.

Fat Loss / GLP-1 leads by provider count (1,023) despite having the fewest compounds (10) — reflecting high GLP-1 concentration per peptide. Longevity has the broadest compound diversity (18 peptides) but narrower provider penetration relative to compound count, suggesting an emerging-market dynamic where supply is building ahead of mainstream demand.

Texas (226) and California (208) lead by a wide margin. The Sun Belt dominates the top 10, with Texas, Florida, Arizona, Tennessee, and Georgia all appearing — consistent with higher rates of functional medicine and compounding pharmacy density in those states.

49 of 51 US territories have ≥10 active providers. True access gaps are minimal in the US — the larger barrier is awareness and prescribing, not geographic supply.

The US accounts for 87.2% of the directory. UK and Canada show strong compound depth relative to provider count — UK providers average 1.2 compounds per provider vs 0.8 for US providers — suggesting international providers tend to offer a broader range per clinic. Australian and Canadian markets reflect similar regulatory contexts and comparable compounding frameworks.

Methodology

All data in this report is sourced from the PeptideBase provider database, a structured directory of clinics, telehealth platforms, compounding pharmacies, and online vendors that offer peptide therapy services or research compounds. The dataset reflects providers with an active listing status as of May 3, 2026.

Provider verification is conducted by the PeptideBase team and involves cross-referencing the provider's website, licensing information, and compound availability claims. Verification does not constitute an endorsement and does not assess clinical competence or product quality.

Compound associations are established when a provider lists a compound as in-stock or available on request. Associations are reviewed for accuracy during the verification process but may not reflect real-time inventory.

Geographic data is derived from provider-reported location fields. Telehealth providers may serve patients outside their listed state or country — the directory reflects physical location of the provider, not patient catchment area.

This report is for informational purposes only. PeptideBase does not provide medical advice. All compound and provider information is educational and should not be used as the basis for medical decisions. Consult a licensed healthcare provider before initiating any peptide therapy.
