PT-141 + Kisspeptin-10: Sexual Health

A central and upstream sexual function stack combining PT-141's direct melanocortin receptor activation for arousal with kisspeptin-10's hypothalamic stimulation of the HPG axis. PT-141 enhances sexual desire and performance at the CNS level independent of vascular mechanisms, while kisspeptin-10 drives pulsatile LH and GnRH release to support the hormonal underpinning of libido. The two peptides target sexual function at different levels of the neuroendocrine hierarchy.

Primary Goal

Mechanism

Compound 1Sexual Health

PT-141

Activates melanocortin receptors (MC3R/MC4R) in the hypothalamus to directly enhance sexual desire and arousal independent of hormonal levels or vascular status, serving as the primary pro-libido agent.

+
Compound 2Sexual Health

Kisspeptin-10

Stimulates pulsatile GnRH release from the hypothalamus, driving upstream LH and FSH secretion to support endogenous sex hormone levels that form the hormonal foundation of libido and sexual function.

Synergistic Effect

Dual-pathway activation

PT-141 × Kisspeptin-10

Safety Notes

PT-141 (bremelanotide) is FDA-approved as Vyleesi for hypoactive sexual desire disorder in premenopausal women; all other uses are off-label. It can cause transient blood pressure increases lasting up to 12 hours and is contraindicated in uncontrolled hypertension or cardiovascular disease. Nausea is reported in approximately 40% of users. Kisspeptin-10 is an unapproved research compound; the combination has no formal clinical safety data.
